Welcome to your Harmony Grief Song Circle
This is not a choir and there are no auditions. Whether your voice is a robust cry, a gentle whisper or a silent tear, you belong here exactly as you are.
The Agreements We Hold
Come as You Are: You do not need to be a "good singer" to join us. Your raw, authentic voice is your beautiful contribution.
A Sacred Sanctuary: Everything shared, wept or sung remains safely within our circle.
Complete Freedom: You are always in control of your journey. You are entirely free to sing along, hum quietly or weep and let the collective voice wash over you.
The Rhythm of Our 2 Hours Together
Softening & Settling (20 minutes)
We begin by gathering in a circle. Together, we take a few slow, synchronised breaths, letting the outside world fade away as we gently land in our bodies and in the safety of the room.
Opening the Heart (20 minutes)
With gentle sighs, soft hums and comforting vocal ripples, we gently open our throats and hearts. We take a quiet moment to softly name or privately hold the sorrows we brought with us—whether it is the loss of a loved one, a quiet heartbreak or the heavy weight of the world.
The Shared Song Weaver (60 minutes)
For an hour, we weave a continuous blanket of sound. We use very short, simple, repetitive songs passed down through the oral tradition.
Because the words are easy to learn, you can close your eyes and let the melody carry you.
In the beginning, we sing low, tender melodies that give your sorrow permission to exist.
As we deepen, the music naturally builds into a rich, supportive tapestry of harmonies, allowing any trapped emotions to lift and move.
Toward the end, the music softens into a soothing lullaby. Anyone who wishes to can rest in the centre of the room to receive a gentle "sound bath" from the surrounding voices.
Rest & Integration (20 minutes)
We let the final notes dissolve into a beautiful, sacred silence, giving our nervous systems time to settle. Before we step back out into the world, we share a moment of gratitude and offer a gentle word or gesture to close our sacred time together.
